Samobor, a city with a touch of freshness of Alpes, has one of the oldest and biggest carnivals in Croatia called "Samoborski fašink". First written sources about the carnival are in Kaikavian literary language dating from 1827..
It is held every year in February, when ruling over the city goes to carnival figures Sraka, Princ, Sudec i Fiškal. Along with carnival through Samobor, there are exhibitiipons, concerts, worhskops for kids and of cource the carnival ball.

So visit Samobor, take a walk along the river that flows through the city, the way ill lead you to the museum. In the city centre you have to try the Kremšnite that go great with coffee, and those who decide for a lunch or dinnner should try the meal with Samobor's specialty - Muštarda or few drops of Bermet, both made by Filipec family..
