Renaissance festival in Koprivnica presents the late medieval period of Kaikavian region and its European identity with emphasis on the rich history of Koprivnica. 
It is held every year on the city-walls where once a mighty fortress stood.
It brings together around 1000 originally costumed participants from Croatia and abroad, thus connecting in unique way the medieval and renaissance life like chivalry with coulinaric specialties. The beer is served in real terra-cotta pints. This year there will be on the menue specialties prepared according to original medieval recipes .
Especially impressive is the night-attack at the fort under the light of mooon and torches.
Last festival was visited by 50 000 people.

There is a special festival-train taking you from Zagreb in Koprivnica and back. The journey takes only one hour.
