Museum of peasant revolt is located in Zagorje in baroque castle Oršić at Gornja Stubica. In this area we can find a castle every few kilometers, the beautiful castle Oršič is placed on a hill. It invites you to come out of the city hustle and bustle, and enjoy nice cultivated, aristocrate space of a castle and a park, to take a look at the museum collections or just sit on the terrace and enjoy.

For a nice short castle trip we recommend  to visit castle Stubički Golubovec with its flower garden and Kaikaviana-collection of Kaikavian books, take a look at the castle in Oroslavje, and the Museum of peasant revolt in castle Oršič. You can reach it also over Kašina and Laz, or arrive over Stubičke Toplice and Dolnja Stubica.

The museum organises Medieval Knight Tournament every year mid of June, and initiated also the celebration of Kaikavian Peasant revolt from 1573. that is marked every year with a nice program.

Musuem is open every day from 9:00 - 19:00
