Days of Kaikavian Word is a traditional manifestation with cultural happenings in Zlatar and its surrounding (e.g. Belec), in the 2nd half of september. A great opportunity to visit this part of Zagorje and experience its cultural and spiritual heritage.
This year the Days of Kaikavian Word are held from 19. – 28.9. 2014.

We would like to point out at following happenings:

• Fri 19.9. Exhibition opening “Paintings by Ana-Marija Smoljanec” in Gallery of native arts Zlatar
• Su 21.9.16.00 – Church of Mary of the Snow, Belec A gem of Baroque - 44. Warazdin baroque evenings - concert of Laura Vadjon, baroque violine and Igor Davidovics, lute ”
• 18.00 – Elementary School Belec Theater play for children „IgroKAJ“ by Mirjana Bobinec
• Mo, 22.9. 18.00 Town library Book presentation „The Queen of Croats“ Velimir Deželić senior
  Book will be presented by : dr.sc. Nedjeljka Mihanović Salopek, prof.dr.sc. Alojz Jembrih and prof.dr.sc. Đuro Deželić. Music program: Music section „Dora“ KPD Zlatarjeve
• Thu, 25.9., 18.30 Town library „Duša naša kajkavski je kraj“ - evening of writers from Zlatar area
• Fri 26.9. u 17.00 – @ Galery of native arts „Zemljeni kipčeki“ - creative workshop (by Association „Miljenko Mlakar“, coaches: Ana-Marija Smoljanec and Neven Krušelj)
• 18:00 On the main square Zlatar „Po starinski“ / In the old way - Exhibition of traditional Kaikavian dishes and hand-works Presentation of products of family farms.
  Wine degustations: Wine-makers Assoc. „Pajdaš“, ŠRD „Pastrva“, GD „Medenka“ . Music program: „Dora“ KPD „Zlatarjeve“ and LUNA BEND
• Sa 27.9. 15.00 – bicycling from Zlatar – Martinščina – Belec - Znož – Zlatar (by: Bicycle club „Lastavica“): Easy bicycle drive, 19 km with stop and refreshments in Belec, where a masterpiece of baroque architecture, church of Mary of the Snow will be open. On the way back we have some fun at Pajdaško sprehajanje in the centre of Zlatar.
