Cultural & artistic association Podturen is very engaged in keeping tradition alive, material and immaterial from times immemorial!
Among other activites, they create fanatstic wooden masks for carneval, known under the name "Storks and herons" Thus ancient Kaikavian heritage, wooden masks that originate in some different archaic moments, still can be seen as part of living tradition in Medjimurje.
