Not far away from Zagreb, with a beautiful view over Zagorje and Prigorje, you can get delicious dishes made mostly from local organically grown food, and taste the magic of Rudolf Steiner's biodynamic way of growing wine grapes.
We recommend Bolfan's Sauvignon and Rhine Riesling, which are probably the best of their sort in whole Croatia. Try it for your self!
In Bolfan's cottage there is also a fine restaurant Vinski vrh which prepares traditional kaikavian lunch in cretive way, using organic food from small eco-farms in vicinity. You are invited to stay overnight in cushy rooms. The restaurant puts a lot of focus on season's food - in autumn you can get "kostanje"- roasted chestnuts and you can even get "mošt" - a delicious grape juice that didn't turn into wine yet. Mošt is traditional autumnal drink in this part of Europe - from Kaikavian region over Slovenia till cottages of Austria & Vienna.
Bolfan also feed their own Red Agnus catlle, of course in organic way.
