Celebration of Peasant Revolts that took place in 1573. is organized in Donja and Gornja Stubica at the begin of February.  It was the biggest Peasant revolt in Kaikavian region, and it did not suceed. The main organizers were caught and their names were written down, so we know that most of their descendants still live in Zagorje"

The celebration of Peasant revolt 1573. is being held on few days, and it includes among other happenings the preparation of the revolt,  putting up the battle at "Majsec mlin", medieval fair with traditional Kaikavian products, visit to the Museum of Peasant Revolt in castle Oršič, and hikin on the trail of "Gubec puntars" named after the main organizer of the revolt Matija Ambroz Gubec
A train from Zagreb with promo-ticket is takes visitors to Donja Stubica to the event.
