Varaždin Baroque Evenings are held in beautiful authentic spaces like castles and churches in Varaždin but also outside of the city.
They explore and present baroque European music, but also present fine arts, literature and gastronomic specialties during grape harvest in Kaikavian region.

Varaždin (Warasdin) is a prosperous baroque & Art Nouveau city in North Croatia, 1 hour from Zagreb and only 3 hours from Vienna by car drive. With Vienna it is not only connected by bus, but also with strong cultural ties. As the whole Kaikavian region, Warasdin was part of Austro-Hungarian empire, and it is sung about in famous Austrian operetta "Gräfin Mariza" - Komm mit nach Warasdin!
